The Hoop For All Ambassador Program is an opportunity for college students to receive hands on experience in philanthropy, event planning, public health, and business development. The purpose of this program is to develop future leaders and professionals in the sports and health world while impacting the community. Each year a number of students are chosen from a college/university campus located in the city. Each program is tasked with executing a sporting event in their community to fundraise and create awareness on one of Hoop For All’s five major health focuses; cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, mental health, and HIV/aids. Ambassadors serve as liaisons between their college campus and surrounding community. Each program receives guidance, training, and mentorship throughout the process.
