Hoop For Hope is a cancer awareness three-on-three basketball tournament that serves to educate the community prevention and treatment as well as raise funds for patients. The tournament takes place in Washington D.C. and attracts players from all over the country. The event is comprised of three on three games, a dunk contest, three-point contest, halftime performances, interactive activities, giveaways, music, and food. Hoop For Hope has spread awareness and raised funds for breast cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, blood cancer, and childhood cancer. In 2016, Hoop For All increased its fundraising donations by nearly 225%. After each Hoop For Hope, two cancer patients are awarded with the Hoop For All Survivor Donation and Award to provide aid during the recovery process.
